Adams) the surname and arms of Cokayne in lieu of those of Adams by royal licence 15 Aug., 1873, a student of Lincoln's Inn 16 Jan., 1850 (then aged 24), called to the bar 30 April, 1853 (4th son of William Adams, LL.D., of Thorpe, Surrey); born 29 April, 1825; married 2 Dec, 1856, Mary Dorothea, 2nd dau. of George Henry Gibbs, Esq., of Aldenham Park, Herts, and of Clifton Hampden, Oxon, etc., and has issue.
