Coll., Camb., an assistant solicitor to the treasury since 1878, secretary to Judicature Acts Commission 1877, a student of the Inner Temple 10 Nov., 1869 (then aged 21), called to the bar 18 Nov., 1872 (2nd son of John Otway, 3rd earl of Desart); born 30 Aug., 1848; married 19 July, 1876, Lady Margaret Joan Lascelles, 2nd dau. of Henry Thynne, 4th earl of Harewood, and has issue (see Foster's Peerage).
