Eardley-Wilmot, Sir John Eardley, Bart., M.P. South Warwickshire since 1874, B.A., Balliol Coll, Oxon, 1831 (scholar 1828, chancellor's gold medallist 1829), from Winchester Coll., D.L. co. Warwick, recorder of Warwick 1852-74, judge of county courts (circuit No. 54) 1854-63 and circuit No. 43 1863-71, a student of Lincoln's Inn 19 May, 1830 (then aged 18), called to the bar 28 Jan., 1842 (eldest son of Sir John Eardley Eardley-Wilmot, of Berkeswell Hall, co. Warwick, Bart.); born 16 Nov., 1810; married 27 April, 1839, Eliza Martha, dau. of late Sir Robert Williams, Bart., M.P. (see Foster's Baronetage).
