Anderson) chief justice of Ceylon 1874, member of supreme court of Victoria, Melbourne, 1878, a student of the Inner Temple 10 Oct., 1870 (then aged 28), called to the bar 7 June, 1873 (3rd son of James Edgcome, of 24, Brunswick Square, London, M.D.); born 2 April, 1842; married 6 Aug., 1876, Alice, widow of H. A. Finlay, Esq., dau. of late Dr. G. P. A. Greeves.
