Sussex, a student of Lincoln's Inn 10 Nov., 1837, called to the bar 24 Nov., 1840 (only son of Sir Howard Elphinstone, Bart., of Ore Place, Sussex); born 2 June, 1804; married 30 Sept., 1829, Elizabeth Julia, youngest dau. of late Edmund Jeremiah Curteis, Esq., of Windmill Hill, Sussex, M.P., and has issue.
