Erskine, Lord (William Macnaghten Erskine), 5th baron, late capt. 4th lancers, J.P. Northants, a student of Lincoln's Inn 7 Nov., 1870 (then aged 29), called to the bar 7 June, 1873 (only son of Hon. John Cadwallader Erskine); born 7 Jan., 1841; married 2 April, 1864, Caroline Alice Martha, dau. of late William Grimble, Esq., and has issue (see Foster's Peerage).
