Eyre, George Edward, M.A., Oriel Coll., Oxon, 1828, F.S.A., F.R.G.S., from Harrow, late recorder of Romsey, went the Western circuit, J.P. Hants and Wilts, high sheriff 1845, a student of the Inner Temple 27 May, 1825, called to the bar 14 May, 1830 (eldest son of George Eyre, Esq., of Warrens, Wilts); born 8 April, 1804; married 19 April, 1838, Penelope Anne Sophia, 3rd dau. of Rev. James Eyre, B.C.L., vicar of Kirk Ella, Yorks, etc.; she died 2 Feb., 1863, leaving issue.
