Notts, a student of Lincoln's Inn 19 June, 1838 (then aged 21), called to the bar 22 Nov., 1841 (eldest son of William Fane, H.E.I.C.S.); born 21 Oct., 1816; married 7 Oct., 1861, Susan Millicent, eldest dau. of Genl. John Reeve, of Leadenham House, co. Lincoln; she died 12 Dec., 1877, leaving issue (see Foster's Peerage, E. Westmorland).
