Fitzmaurice, John Gerald, inspector of schools since 1874, a member of the Midland circuit, engaged on House of Lords appeal Daukins v. Lord Rokeby, undergrad. Univ. Coll., Oxon, a student of the Inner Temple 3 Nov., 1863 (then aged 26), called to the bar 17 Nov., 1866 (2nd son of late Major-Genl. Fitzmaurice, K.H., of Drayton Green, Ealing, dec.); born 21 July, 1837; married 15 July, 1869, Florence Augusta Marian, only dau. of late Thomas A. Boyrenson, Esq., and has issue (see Foster's Our Noble and Gentle Families).
