Graham, Henry John Lowndes, M.A., Balliol Coll., Oxon, 1868, a master in lunacy since 1880, principal secretary to Lord Cairns, lord chancellor 1874-80, a student of the Inner Temple 10 Nov., 1865 (then aged 23), called to the bar 6 June, 1868 (youngest son of late William Graham, of Castlemilk, near Glasgow, merchant); born 15 Jan., 1842; married 15 June, 1869, Edith Elizabeth Gathorne-Hardy, eldest dau. of Gathorne, 1st Viscount Cranbrook; she died 8 Jan., 1875, leaving issue (see Foster's Peerage).
