Norfolk, late major 4th West York militia, lord of the manor of Summerfield, a student of the Inner Temple 15 April, 1831 (then aged 19), called to the bar 20 Nov., 1835 (eldest son of Humphrey John Hare, Esq., of Docking, Norfolk); born 17 Oct., 1811; married 11 Sept., 1853, Hannah Elizabeth, dau. and co-heir of John Newbould, Esq., of Bramhope Hall, Yorks; she died 28 May, 1882 (see Foster's Our Noble and Gentle Families).
