Knowles, Sir Francis Charles, Bart., M.A., Trin. Coll., Camb., 1828, went the Northern circuit, a student of Lincoln's Inn 27 Jan., 1824 (then aged 21), called to the bar 28 Jan., 1834 (eldest son of Admiral Sir Charles Henry Knowles, of Llwyndera, co. Montgomery, Bart); born 10 June, 1802; married 26 May, 1831, Emma, 4th dau. of Sir George Pocock, Bart., M.P., F.R.S., and has a son (see Foster's Baronetage).
