Hum. 1875, official reporter of Chancery Division High Court of Justice Ontario 1882, one of the editors of the Canada Law Journal, joint author of Lefroy and Cassel's Notes of Practice Cases (Toronto 1883), called to the bar of Ontario 21 May, 1878, a student of the Inner Temple 23 Jan., 1874 (then aged 21), called to the bar 17 Nov., 1877 (2nd son of Lt.-Genl. Sir John Henry Lefroy, K.C.M.G., C.B.); born 27 June, 1852; married 22 Sept., 1884, Mary Theodora, 2nd dau. of H. S. Strathy, Esq., of Toronto (see Foster's Baronetage).
