Littler, Ralph Daniel Makinson, Q.C., B.A. London Univ. 1854 and a member of Convocation, common law prizeman, revising barrister Northumberland. 1868, author of Practice and Evidence in Divorce Cases, Digest of Cases before the Referees in Parliament, a member of the Northern and North-eastern circuits, of the commission of the lieutenancy for the city of London, a student of the Inner Temple 14 Nov., 1854 (then aged 20), called to the bar there 6 June 1857, admitted a barrister of the Middle Temple ad eundem 28 April, 1870, Q.C. 3 Feb., 1873, bencher 24 Nov., 1882 (younger son of late Rev. Robert Littler, of London); born 2 Oct., 1835.
