Lord, James, a student of Lincoln's Inn 22 Nov., 1833 (then aged 19), went to the Inner Temple 22 April, 1837, where he was called to the bar 9 June, 1837 (4th son of Rev. H. Lord, of Northiam, Sussex); born , 1814; married 1st, 14 June, 1842, Eleanor, widow of Charles Barton, Esq., of the Inner Temple, bar.-at-law; he married 2ndly, 16 Oct., 1847, Elizabeth Mary, eldest dau. of Henry Cox, Esq., of Parkfield, near Derby.
