Myburgh, Philip Albert, Q.C., B.A., London Univ. 1860, and a member of Convocation, a member of the Northern circuit, formerly H.M.'s standing counsel in supreme court China and Japan, a student of the Inner Temple 15 April, 1858 (then aged 17), called to the bar 17 Nov., 1862, Q.C. 18 Jan., 1882 (5th son of François Gerard Myburgh, Esq., of the civil service Cape of Good Hope); born 24 Feb., 1841; married 10 Nov., 1868, Anna, elder dau. of late Alexander McDonald, Esq., of London.
