Palmer, John Edward, scholar Trin. Hall, Camb., honours in law and moral science tripos, etc., 1856, a member of the South-eastern circuit, a student of the Inner Temple 13 Nov., 1851 (then aged 19), certificate of honour 1853, called to the bar 1 May, 1854 (eldest son of John Palmer, Esq., J.P., formerly of 43rd regt.); born 11 April, 1832; married 4 Oct, 1866, Eleanor Margaret, eldest dau. of late John Bradshaw, F.R.C.S., and has issue (see Foster's Peerage, B. Truro).
