Essex, income tax commissioner, master of Worshipful Company of Armourers and Braziers 1884, a director of the Westminster Fire Office, a member of the Home (now Southeastern) circuit, a student of the Middle Temple 1 May, 1865, called to the bar there 27 Jan., 1868, admitted a barrister of Gray's Inn ad eundem 4 March, 1876 (eldest son of James Parker Pierce, Esq., late of London, J.P., dec.); born 30 Nov., 1831; married 7 Aug., 1861, Mary, younger dau. of late Henry Milward, Esq., J.P., of Redditch, co. Worc., and has issue.
