Pim, Capt. Bedford Clapperton Trevelyan, R.N. (retired), J.P. Middlesex and Westminster, M.P. Gravesend 1868-74, passed first at Royal Naval Coll., Portsmouth, for lieutenancy, made the voyage round the world in H.M.S. Herald 1845-51, engaged in the search for Sir John Franklin, etc., served through Russian (medal) and Chinese wars (severely wounded), author of War Chronicle, Negro and Jamaica, Notes on Cherbourg, Mining Arctic Expedition, Gate of the Pacific, went the Western circuit, a student of the Inner Temple 20 April, 1870 (then aged 44), of Gray's Inn 28 Nov., 1870, called to the bar by the Inner Temple 27 Jan., 1873, admitted a barrister of Gray's Inn ad eundem 19 Feb., 1873 (only son of Edward Bedford Pim, late of Bideford, Devon, commander R.N.); born 12 June, 1826; married 3 Oct., 1861, Susanna, dau. of Henry Locock, Esq., of Blackheath, and has issue (see Foster's Baronetage).
