Coll., Camb., 1871, a member of the Oxford circuit, a student of the Inner Temple 3 Nov., 1871 (then aged 21), called to the bar 6 June, 1874 (5th son of Mortimer Ricardo, Esq., of Bure Homage, Hants); born 5 June, 1850; married 27 Sept., 1877, Alice Henrietta, dau. of Col. the Hon. Edmund Gambier Monckton, and has issue (see Foster's Peerage, E. Clanwilliam).
