John Stephen, solicitor-general island of St. Kitts, West Indies]; born , 1802; married 1st, , 1824, Virginia, dau. of Matthew Consett, Esq.; she died , ; he married 2ndly, Feb., 1839, Eleanor, dau. of Rev. W. Bedford, D.D., senior chaplain Hobart Town.
