Webster, Richard Everard, Q.C., M.A. (scholar, thirty-fifth wrangler, and 3rd class classics), Trin. Coll., Camb., 1868, educated at King's Coll. School and Charterhouse, a member of the South-eastern circuit, "tubman" of Court of Exchequer 1872-4 and "postman" 1874-8, a student of Lincoln's Inn 22 April, 1865 (then aged 22), called to the bar 30 April, 1868, Q.C. April, 1878, bencher 2 Nov., 1881 (2nd son of Thomas Webster, Q.C., late a master of the bench, dec.); born 22 Dec., 1842; married 18 Aug., 1872, Louisa Mary, only dau. of William Charles Calthrop, Esq., of Withern, co. Lincoln.
