Williamson, Victor Alexander, C.M.G. 1882, M.A. Christ Church, Oxon, B.A. (formerly student) 1860, from Westminster School, member of Executive and Legislative Councils Fiji 1879-81, a royal commissioner to inquire into treatment of Indian immigrants in Mauritius 1872 and 1873, a student of the Inner Temple 17 Jan., 1861 (then aged 22), called to the bar 17 Nov., 1865 (4th son of Sir Hedworth Williamson, of Whitburn Hall, co. Durham, Bart.); born 28 June, 1838 (see Foster's Baronetage).
