Educational institutions of the State and local governments should treat persons with equality in admitting them into education on the basis of their abilities.

Section73.In educational institutions of the State and local governments, the compulsory education must be provided free of tuition fees.

The State should aid indigent persons by furnishing them with funds and means for every level of education as appropriate.

Section74.The State should promote research on arts and sciences, should promote statistics, and should apply science and technology to the development of the Country.

Section75.The State should promote and maintain the culture of the Nation. But this must not be carried out through a means which is against the will of a person.

Section76.The State should nourish and maintain places and objects of historical, cultural, and artistic value.

Section77.The State should nourish and maintain the balance of environment and natural beauty as well as the forests, sources of rivers and streams, and waters.

Section78.The State should promote quests for natural resources for use in the economic interest of the Thai people, without infringing the principles of conservationism.
