Note: The grounds for promulgation of this Act are as follows: After the issuance of the Announcement of the Council for Democratic Reform No 15 dated the 21st day of September 2549 Buddhist Era, Re: Prohibiting political parties from holding meetings or conducting any other political activities, of which one of the essential points is the temporary prohibition of the proceedings for establishment or registration of political parties, the Cabinet has adopted a resolution to allow establishment or registration of political parties. It is therefore necessary to enact this Act.
