Note: The grounds for promulgation of this Amendment to the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand are as follows: Whereas it is appropriate to amend the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand in respect of the powers of the Senators and the period of time for the application of the transitory provisions relating to the powers of the Senators, so that they be more suitable; it is therefore necessary to enact this Constitution.
