Beginning at junction of present US Route 278 and a high type facility at Whitehouse, thence easterly on new facility via Natural Bridge to junction with present US 278 east of Double Springs. |
SOUTH CAROLINA

Beginning at the eastern terminus of US Route 278 at the South Carolina-Georgia State Line in North Augusta on US Route 1, thence northeasterly on US Route 1 to junction with State Route 125, thence southeasterly on SR 125 to junction of State Route 28 at Beech Island, thence easterly and southeasterly over SR 28 via Barnwell, Allendale, Fairfax, Hampton and Varnville to junction with State Route 128 at Almeda, thence southerly over SR 128 via Gray. Gillisonville and Ridgeland to State Route 462, thence south over SR 462 to junction with State Rout 46 north of Bluffton, thence east over SR 46 to Forest Beach. |
