Milindapanho, a storehouse of information on the doctrines of Buddhism, which are conveyed in conversations between N&gasena, a Buddhist priest, and Milinda, king of S&gala. fTumerous extracts from this important work are contained in the late E. Spence Hardy's " Eastern Monachism," and "Manual of Budhism." An edition of the Pali text, from four MSS., accompanied by an English translation, is preparing for publication by Mr. V. Trenckner, of Copen- hagen.
