‘Slow!’ the Ghost repeated.

‘Seven years dead,’ mused Scrooge, ‘And travelling all the time?’

‘The whole time,’ said the Ghost, ‘No rest, no peace. Incessant torture of remorse.’

‘You travel fast?’ said Scrooge.

‘On the wings of the wind,’ replied the Ghost.
