Statutes bind in Ireland when “especially named” I have yet another Authority to add, which must needs turn the scale, being no less than the testimony even of Sir Edward Coke himself upon this very point! Let his own words judge him.

He informs us, in his 4th Inst, cap. 76, p. 350. that “sometimes the King of England called his Nobles of Ireland to come to his Parliament of England,” &c. and, after reciting the form of the Writ used on such occasions (12), he adds- “an excellent President" (says he) "to be followed whensoever any Act of Parliament shall be made in England concerning the Statute of Ireland,” &c.
