By Kumara Vyasa : the work is dedicated to the deity Lakshmi Narayan, a statue of Vishnu erected in the village of Gada Gada, by Vata verddhana or Vishnuverddhana, the fourth prince of the Belal dynasty who reigned in the latter part of the 12th century, and became a convert to the faith of Vishnu from that of Jina.
