חמור m,, חמורה f. (חמר I) heavy, weighty, import- ant; strict, severe, stringent, restrictive. Kel. I, 4 ח׳ וכ׳ שבכולם the most stringent of all are the laws con- cerning corpses. -- ח׳ איסור, v. איסור. -- Snh. 50a ח׳ נשריפה וכ׳ death by burning is a severer punishment than &c. Ib.
