רפואה f (b. h. דפאות; דפא) 1)healing, cure; medicine, remedy. RR. Hash. 17b (ref. to Is. VI, 10) שצריך דבר איזהו וכ׳ ר׳ what is that which needs to be remedied? It is a. divine decree (which may be averted by man's repentance). Meg. 13b (ref. to Esth. III, 1) למכה ד׳ . . . אחר after the Lord had prepared the remedy for the wound (the means of delivery from the afffdiction).
