have offered, than any Thing else I can say. He was not only the finest Gentleman of his Time, but one of the finest Scholars in every Part of polite Learning: Whatever Parts of his Character have been disputed, this Palm hath been yielded with the greatest Justice, and Applause; and when Your Lordship thinks how great an Ornament he was to the English Court and Nation, You will find his Learning was as great an Ornament to him.
