Wooa), who, in early life resided in London, is supposed to have been a descendant of Bishop Nicolas Ridley, one of the English reformers and martyrs of the 16th century ; in evidence of which is the fact that a member of the Bishop's family left him, many years ago, a legacy, and the pre- sent Mr.W. D. Wood has now in his possession a steel engi-aving of Bishop Kidley, which has been handed down in his family as an heir- loom.
