Chester, and arand-daughler, ma- ternally, of James Touchet, Lord Audley ; and dying in the first year of Richard III, was s. by his onl^' son, Philip Egerton, of Egerton and Oulton. This gentleman m. Joan, daughter and co- heir of Gilbert Smith, of Cuerdley, eo, Lan- caster, and widow of Richard WiNNiXGTO.x, and dying 1531, was s. by his only sou, Sir Philip Egerton, Knt.,who)H. Eleanor, daughter of Sir Randle Brereton, Knt., of Malpas, and was a-, in 15U3, by his son, John Egerton, who m. Jane, daughter of Piers Mo.sTTN, of Talaere, co.
