You will be glad to hear there is a subscription on foot, called "The Hare Prize Fund". The plan is, if we get at least Rs. 4,000, we invest the amount in Government Security, or some other nearly as safe investment and more profitable. The pro- ceeds to be applied as prize for the best ' vernacular essays or works. The subjects to be chosen by a committee, and the merits of the production to be decided by them. If the amount does not reach Rs. 4,000, the thing will be dropped, si any thing that is not permanent, should not be mixed with the name of David Hare. &c Much talk of EUenborough's recall.
