SECT. III.
Nouns are distributed into six classes, viz. (Indic characters), proper names; (Indic characters) names of sensible objects; (Indic characters), generic names; (Indic characters), names of qualities, viz. adjectives; (Indic characters), names of ideas, viz. absiract substantives, and (Indic characters), imitative sounds.
They are further divided into (Indic characters), names of animals, and (Indic characters), names of inanimate things.
1. Names of males, and of inanimate things, ending in (Indic characters), are masculine, ((Indic characters)).
2. Names of females, and of inanimate things, ending in (Indic characters) or (Indic characters), are feminine, ((Indic characters)).
