shirtwaist pattern to make an apron. You can use your same block waist pattern to make a brassiere like the one shown in Fig. 27, too.

Lay your blouse pattern around the outside. Then remove the original pattern. Use the outlines marked as diagram. (See Figs.28 and 29.)

At a point about eight inches down from the neck in the front mark a point as D and draw a line from this point to the bottom of the armhole as the line DE. This line should correspond to an imaginary line at the fullest part of the bust on the person. To fix point D in exactly the right place,
