Then lay these facing pieces along the crotch edge of the drawers on the right side of the garment and stitch a seam’s width back from the edge as illustrated in Fig. 88. Turn the facing onto the wrong side of the drawers, fold under the free edge three-eighths of an inch, press and stitch as shown in Fig. 89.

Lap the two drawers sections at the front. Then sew on the belt at the top as you did the facings. The Fig. 90 shows the belt laid on the wrong side of the garment and stitched across the top, while Fig. 91 shows
