up and put onto a woman whose waistline ran up in front, the reverse would happen. (Elderly women with high stomachs often have a waistline that runs up in the front.) In this case, the fullness would poke out in the front. On the pattern, the waistline needs lowering in the back. (See Fig. 73.)
