B., 16 pp., each No. 4 as., continued till 1823, designed for Sircars and iteranies, 500 copies were sent monthly to heathens in Calcutta, and 2,000 copies were distribut- ed in the villages. One edition was published in Anglo-Bengali land another in Bengali ; it embraced biography, diaries, anec- dotes, expressions of dyinjj Christians, ecclesiastical history, Jewish and Christian antiquities, select poems, natural philoso- phy,— controversy was excluded.
