  Droict de Relods. xx d. Tour. payable by a purchaser vnto the Landlord vpon euerie pound due to him for the Lods and Ventes.
  Droict de Rendage de chascun ouvrage; containes both the Kings Right of Seigneuriage, and the Master of the Mints Brassage.
  Droict de Represailles, ou Repressailles. Libertie, or Power to take, in time of warre, a stranger prisoner, and to keepe him, vntill he haue repayed vnto his Taker the ransome he payed formerly, or satisfied him for goods taken from him by one of his countreymen; Looke Repressailles.
  Droict de Requart. A Quarter of a Quarter of the price, or worth of an Inheritance Cottier, due vnto the Landlord vpon the alienation thereof; (abolished by some late Customes.)
  Droict de Requint. A fift pennie of the fift pennie of the price, or value of an Inheritance feodal, due in all alienations vnto the Lord feodal; but abolished, by the customes of some places, as the Requart.
  Droict de Ressort. Looke Ressort.
  Droict de Resue. An auncient Tax, or Imposition of iiij d. in the pound for Marchandise, and x s. Tour. for euerie Pipe of wine, brought into, or sent out of, the kingdome.
  Droict de Retenuë. A Priuiledge of some Landlords; who may redeeme, within fortie dayes, the lands which their tenants haue sold, paying for them vnto the purchaser, ouer and besides his lawfull costs and charges, as much as he gaue.
  Droict de Retiers; as Droict de Reventes.
  Droict de Reventes. A fine due, besides the Lods and Ventes, vnto the Lord Censuel, by a Purchaser, who buying an Inheritance thats charged with Cens, doth vndertake to acquit the seller from the payment of Lods.
  Droict de Reventons. The same.
  Droict de Reversion. The right of Reuersion; power to take backe, and reunite vnto the demaine of the Crowne, such lands as haue beene diuided from it by Dowers, younger brothers Portions, &c; as also to seize on Duchies, & Earldomes that fall among daughters.
  Droict de Rivage. Shorage, or Boatage; the Custome, or Toll for wine, or other wares, put vpon, or brought from, the water, by boats.
  Droict de Robbes de Pasques. Gownes at Easter, due vnto the Officers of the chamber of Accompts.
  Droict de Rodage. A certaine Toll exacted by some countrey Lords vpon euerie Wayne that passes (through the high way) by their Seigniories, whether it be loaden or no; for if it be, they will also be payed for the Load.
  Droict de Roses. A certaine quantitie of Roses, or a fee in lieu of them, belonging to the Officers of the chamber of Accompts.
  Droict de Roüage. Wheelage; a certaine Toll, or Imposition vpon wine sould in grosse, and carried away in Carts; leuied, before a wheele thereof bee suffered to turne: In some places, a Lord Terrageur hath also, as a wheelage, a sheafe vpon euerie load of his tenants corne, towards the carrying of his Terrage vnto his

Barne, whereto by couenant, or custome they are bound to lead it.
  Droicts Royaux. The Royall Prerogatiue, or Priuiledges; such as be the Protection of Vniuersities, and Cathedrall Churches (whose Officers, Members, Ministers, Seruants, and Vassals are not to bee tried before any other Iudges then the Kings) Exemption from Excommunication, both for himselfe, and his Officers (by reason of their Offices;) Power to prohibit the publication, and execution of Admonitions, Interdictions, or Suspensions denounced against the Prelates, or Officers of his Kingdome; Absolute, and onely power, to forgiue offences committed against the Publicke; to recall the Banished, release the Gallyslaue, and free other mens Villaines; to giue Protections, generall Passeports, and Safeconducts; to punish Traitors, Rebels, and Coyners; to giue Letters of Mart, and Reprisall; of Nobilitation, Legitimation, and full restitution; to raise new Customes, and Taxes; graunt Faires, and Markets; found Vniuersities; erect Corporations, and new Offices; make all kind of Knights; to enter into Warre, Peace, League, or Truce with an enemie; to create of a Chastellenie, a Baronie, or Countie; and of this a Marquisdome, or Duchie; to acknowledge no Superiour in temporall matters, no subiection vnto the Lawes Imperiall; generally, to exercise, and execute, all Soueraigne, and Monarchall Jurisdiction.
  Droict de saintre; belongs vnto some Lords; who may thereby eat, with (onely) their cattell, all the wast, vntilled, stuble, or bushie grounds that be within their Manors.
  Droict de saisine. The money due vnto the Lo. Censuel, and of the Soyle, by a Purchaser of an Jnheritance Censuel, when he is inseisined, and put into possession thereof; (by the customes of Paris it is xij d. Parisis.)
  Droict de salage. A certaine quantitie of Salt due vnto the Abbot of Bourgmoien within Blois, vpon euerie boat that carries any into the hauen, or vnder the bridges, of that Towne.
  Droict de Salin. as Gabelle de Sel.
  Droict de Salvage. A tenth part of goods which were like to perish by shipwracke, due vnto him that saues them.
  Droict de Saunelage; the same. ¶Breton.
  Droict de Sauvelage; the same.
  Droict de Seel. The Priuiledge of hauing a Seale, wherewith his vassals are to stampe all their contracts.
  Droict de Segorage. A certaine dutie, or fee, belonging to the Lord of the Isle Savari within the Bayliwike of Touraine.
  Droict de Segreage; the same.
  
  Droict de Seigneuriage. Whereby defectiue coyne is forfeited vnto the Crowne; also, the right of coynage, or fee for coyning, due vnto the King; the first is, the profit he makes, in generall, by the defect of the coyne which he authorises; the second is (most commonly) 65 s. Tour. vpon euerie Marc of gold; iiij s. vj d. vpon a Marc of siluer; and xx d. vpon euerie Marc of Billon, or courser mettall, coyned.
  Droicts Seigneuriaux. Rents, Seruices, Wardships, Escheats, and all other Rights due, or Profits accruing, vnto a Lord out of the land thats held of him; Looke Seigneurial.
  Droict de Sepulture. A Parsons dutie, or fee, for the buriall of one of his Parishioners.
  Droict de sixiesme; &, du sixiesme denier; Looke Sixiesme.
