Toux de regnard. A setled, or old-growne cough, that stickes by a man as long as he liues.
Vin de regnard. Such wine as being much drunke of sharpens the wit, & makes the drunkard crafter then he was.
Coudre la peau du regnard à celle du Lion. To proceed both craftily, and violently; both by stratagems and strength; or to attempt that by craft which he cannot obtaine by force.
