Goſpel, as they are themſelves the firſt to ſhew the Fruits of them! Every one knows with what Succeſs the great Art of the Pulpit is cultivated at Geneva; but, too accuſtomed to hear Divines ſay one thing and ſee them do another, few Perſons give themſelves time to conſider, to what a Degree the Spirit of Chriſtianity, a Holineſs of Manners, Self-ſeverity and neighbourly Indulgence prevail throughout the Body of our Miniſters. Geneva, perhaps, is the only City in the whole World that can boaſt of ſo perfect and edifying an Union between its Men of Letters and its Divines.
