Present with future signification : stanu se. Imperative: slaň se. Past tense : stal jsem se. Thus: stal se zároveň knížetem, he became prince at once. For the present is used the cognate form stavam.
diti, to say, is only used in the present—dim, diš, di, dime, díle, dějí (cf. O. S. jíjbra, ponere, dicere). The impersonal use of this verb in the latter sense has already been discussed. Cf. also Russian secKaiB.
