11.—W.A. PEPPERMINT (Agonis flexuosa).

This tree attains a height of about 25 feet, and has rather a drooping habit. As an ornamental and shade tree it has much to recommend it. The leaves are long and narrow, and of a pale green, the flowers, which are white, being situated in small clusters at the bases of the leaves. The leaves also have a characteristic scent of peppermint.
