Having been invited by the Government of Madras, the Maharajah was present at Madras during the visit of Their Royal Highnesses the Prince and Princess of Wales. On the afternoon of the 24th January Their Royal Highnesses landed at Madras from Rangoon. The Maharajah was one of those few who were introduced to the Prince and Princess.
