The translation of Tasman's voyage by the Rev'd C. G. Woide was made in 1776, and was always kept with the original, on a shelf in Sir Joseph Banks's library. It was printed in Barney's collection of voyages. I do not know how the manuscript got out of the library of Sir Joseph Banks, but
