Cromwell, Wingfield, 5th Baron Cromwell (2nd Earl of Ardglass), created D.C.L. 1 or 2 Nov., 1642, a royalist, taken prisoner at Chester April, 1649, died 3 Oct., 1668, his widow remarried to Charles Cotton, of Beresford Hall, Notts, 'the angler and poet.'
